Stem Units with Pilot Wire – Stem Size 1/4″ (6mm)
KX-378 stem insert repair units for passenger and light truck tires seals tire injuries to prevent tire failure. Our stem insert repair units are a fully cushion wrapped stem with guide wire for ease of installation.
A small diameter pilot wire is molded into the stem unit for easy insertion into the tire. After insertion, the properly selected patch is installed over the stem creating a permanent repair.

- For permanent and best results, always use an appropriate size carbide cutter and install with KX-511F flammable chemical cement.
- If an injury angle is more than 25 degrees, repair with a two piece KEX stem and KEX tire repair unit.
